How Our Pricing Works
U-Line Appliance Repair charges a diagnostic fee for every service visit. This fee covers the technician’s travel, inspection, and diagnosis of your appliance. If you approve the repair and we proceed with the work, the diagnostic fee is applied as a credit toward your total bill ??? you do not pay it twice.
Cancelling an Appointment
You can cancel or reschedule a service appointment free of charge as long as you let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled window. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or if the technician arrives and is turned away, a trip fee may apply. We understand that plans change ??? just give us reasonable notice and there is no penalty.
After the Repair
Appliance repair is a hands-on service, not a product you can box up and return. Once the technician has completed the work, the labor portion is non-refundable. However, every repair we perform is backed by our workmanship warranty. If the same issue comes back within the warranty period, we will return and address it at no extra labor cost.
Parts
Parts we install carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides. Because installed parts become part of your appliance, they cannot be removed and returned. If you asked us to order a specific part and later decide you do not need it ??? before it is installed ??? we may be able to return it, minus a restocking fee. Ask your technician for details before we place the order.
When Something Is Not Right
If you feel the repair did not resolve your issue, or if you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, contact us within 14 days. We review every request individually and work toward a fair outcome ??? whether that means a return visit, a partial adjustment, or something else. We would rather fix the problem than lose your trust.
